‘www.thewiglabel.com’ is owned and operated by `The Wig Label` you agree by accessing
the website that you have read, understood, and accept all of the below terms and
conditions. Without acceptance of these terms and conditions, you are prohibited from
accessing or purchasing from our website. The Wig Label hold the right to change and
review these terms and conditions at any time.
The terms ‘customer’, ‘yours’ & ‘consumer’ are not related to ‘The Wig Label’. The terms
‘we’ ‘I’ ‘us’ refer to the ‘The Wig Label’.
1. Payments
All payment must be made in GBP (Great British Pounds).
Full cleared payment must be received by ‘The Wig Label’ before any work will begin on
any product or despatch of any product as advertised on ‘www.thewiglabel.com’.
It is the customers responsibility to ensure any payments to third party payment
companies are made on time, to avoid any interest fees.
Any custom or additional fees other than the charge for Royal Mail tracked postage are the
responsibility of the customer. ‘The Wig Label’ are not in any way liable for any additional
fees once the packaged wig has been despatched by them.
2. Returns
No returns or refunds are given. If an issue is found with the product supplied by ‘The Wig
Label’ documentation and images need to be provided to ‘The Wig Label’ within 24hrs of
the package being received by the customer. The Wig Label will investigate the reported
issue and respond to the customer within 72 hours (exclusive of weekends and Bank
Holidays).
3.Postage & Packaging
Styled wigs will only be sent on a polystyrene head if this is additionally ordered at check
out.
The main courier used by ‘The Wig Label’ is Royal Mail tracked. Other courier services may
be used from time to time. All packages will be sent tracked and insured through the
courier for the full amount paid by the customer for the purchase.
International orders may incur a custom fee. It is the responsibility of the customer to
check for and pay any such fee. If the customer does not pay the custom fee in a timely
manner the product will be returned to ‘The Wig label.’ The customer will be liable for
any additional postage fees incurred by ‘The Wig Label’ in resending the package to the
customer. Any additional postage fees are to be received by ‘The Wig Label’ within 14 days
of the returned product being received back by ‘The Wig Label’. Once payment has been
received by ‘The Wig Label’, ‘The Wig Label’ will use all best endeavours to arrange
despatch back to the customer within 14 days. Should the customer not make payment for
these additional postage fees within 14 days then ‘The Wig Label’ reserve the right to
retain the product and no refund will be given.
All products will be packaged to the best of ‘The Wig Label’s’ ability. Once the product has
been despatched it is no longer the responsibility of ‘The Wig Label’. ‘The Wig Label’ is
not liable for any damaged packing, or damage caused to the product during the shipping
process.
‘The Wig Label’ is not liable for any packages lost in transit. If a package is deemed as
lost, ‘The Wig Label’ will open a case with the courier and a refund will only be provided
to the customer if the claim has been successful and a refund from the courier company
received by The Wig Label.
4. Base Wigs
Unless stated otherwise all base wigs are made from high quality synthetic hair.
When brushed base wigs will loose hair, this is not a fault in the wig and they have been
made to accommodate this.
Base wigs used by ‘The Wig Label’ can withstand heat of up to 160 degrees, however ‘The
Wig Label’ will not be held liable for any melting or singeing of a wig.
It is the customers responsibility to maintain the wig after every wear to prolong the life
of the wig.
It is the customers responsibility to understand proper application methods to safely
secure the wig to the head.
All wigs are styled on an average 24.5 inch adjustable base wig. ‘The Wig Label’ will not
be held liable if the wig does not fit.
4. Styled Wigs
‘The Wig Label’ will use all best endeavours to recreate every style as accurately as
possible to that shown on ‘www.thewiglabel.com’ however due to the nature of styling,
styles may vary slightly. ‘The Wig Label’ will not be held liable for any variations.
‘The Wig Label’ will try to accurately communicate the colour of all wigs through the
images on ‘www.thewiglabel.com’, however the colour may vary slightly in real life. ‘The
Wig Label’ will not be held liable for any variation.
5. Restyled Wigs
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure safe delivery to ‘The Wig Label’ of any
wig for restyling.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure delivery of the wig that is to be restyled
is received by ‘The Wig Label’ by the agreed date. Should the agreed date not be met
‘The Wig Label’ will not be held liable for any delay to the despatch date.
‘The Wig Label’ cannot guarantee the outcome of a wig restyle.
The customer understands that the wig provided for the restyle could loose a significant
amount of hair.
‘The Wig Label’ have the right to refuse any restyle at any point if they feel it will not
survive the restyling process.
If ‘The Wig Label’ feel that the wig received needs more maintenance than the images of
the wig provided by the customer at the start of the order, the customer understands that
there will be additional fees to pay and work will not start on the wig until these
additional fees have been paid in full. Additional work may result in a delay in the
despatch of the restyle back to the customer. ‘The Wig Label’ will not be liable for any
delay in despatch.
Wigs to be restyled will only be washed by ‘The Wig Label’ if this option has been added at
check out and fully paid for in advance.
If a wig for restyle is stained with make-up ‘The Wig Label’ will use all best endeavours to
remove these stains. However this is not always possible and ‘The Wig Label’ will not be
held liable for any remaining stains.
When restyling a Rapunzel wig the braid may loose a lot of hair in the restyle process
meaning it may not be as thick as it was originally. Depending on the original construction
method, the braid may fall apart completely and not be salvageable. ‘The Wig Label’ will
not be liable in this instance.
If the wig was styled originally by a different stylist other than ‘Heather Shotbolt Wigs’ or
‘The Wig Label’, ‘The Wig Label’ cannot guarantee the outcome of the wig and ‘The Wig
Label’ will not be held liable.
If a restyle package has been purchased, restyles must be booked with ‘The Wig Label’
before the expiry date. ‘The Wig Label’ are not liable if there are no available bookings
for the restyles before the expiry date. If the wig is not restyled before the expiry date no
refund will be given.
